The imagePROGRAF iPF8400 Large Format printer is ideal for helping dedicated artisans and demanding graphic professionals achieve extraordinary results.
We use 12 LUCIA-EX pigment inks for fantastic colour and nicely graduated Black and white images with improved colour output and scratch resistance with reduced bronzing.
We can print canvas images up to 40"x88" (100cm x 220cm)
We use a premium canvas selected for its colour accuracy, smoothness of surface and longevity.
When we stretch the canvas we also seal the image with Hahnemühle protective spray in a matte finish.
Hahnemühle Protective Spray protects digital Fine Art prints from external influences. The aerosol spray lays like a fine film on the paper, without changing the paper structure. It fixes colours of pigment-and dye ink and prevents an eventual colour fading also the intensity and the high brilliance of the colours stay permanently.
The coating increases the abrasion resistance of Fine Art papers, so the risk of fingerprint marks and scratches are reduced. The improved formulation is fast drying. A yellowing of the print due to the spray is not possible.
We can stretch canvas in house up to 40"x 60" and we use a modified Gallerie Wrap stretching frame with a 1.5" edge.
NB: Canvas sizes are still in imperial measurement as the paper presses date back to the 1600's. All our Gallerie wrap bars are in imperial lengths.
